About the 2025 Twin Rivers Arts Festival

For 23 years, this festival has been a draw for local and regional artists. Last year, our Music Room was featured in the Ellerbee Room and our Writer’s Row expanded into the main hall.

The show is strategically held in time to catch holiday shoppers and Shop Small Saturday following Thanksgiving/Black Friday.

Festival Dates and Times

Saturday Nov. 29, 2025 from 10 am – 6pm
Sunday Nov. 30, 2025 from  10 am – 4pm

Application Schedule

July 15, 2025 – Early Application Deadline (applications received by this date will receive a $25 discount on booth fee)
August 15, 2025 – Final Application Deadline
Sept. 1, 2025 – Artist Status Notification
Sept. 15, 2025 – Final Booth Fees Due

Booth Cost

Jury Fee – $35 (non-refundable)
Single Booth (10×10) – $190
Booth-and-a-half (10×15) – $285
Double Booth (10×20) – $380

Art Requirements

  • All work MUST be created by you the applicant/artist; mass produced, commercial and resale items are not allowed.
  • All work must be attractively displayed in a professional manner.
  • All work must be consistent with images represented in your application.
  • Twin Rivers reserves the right to request anyone not following these guidelines to leave the show.

General Information

  • Artists are responsible for collecting and paying Minnesota Sales Tax (7.875%).
  • Artists are required to be at their booth during festival hours.
  • Artists are responsible for their own sales. Twin Rivers does not take a portion of any sales.
  • Twin Rivers provides a continental breakfast each morning. This courtesy extends to two artists/helpers per booth.
  • Optional boxed lunches are available to be delivered to the artist booths daily. The cost is $12 per lunch.
  • Twin Rivers recommends artists move in on Friday. Move in on Saturday a.m. prior to the show opening will be appointment only.

Equipment

  • Electricity is provided at no additional cost. We highly recommend being prepared to light your space.
  • Chairs and skirted tables are available–please note how many on your application.

Advertising and Promotion

  • Color Post-It note on Mankato Free Press’ front page.
  • Regional printing, social/digital and radio advertising.
  • Printed/electronic poster, postcards and social media graphics will be available for artists to use to promote the festival.
  • Artists are encouraged to promote the festival via their websites, online calendars, social media and newsletters as well as like/share Twin Rivers Arts Festivals posts with their followers.

ShopART Midwest Online

In 2020, we created ShopArtMidwest.com. All of our festival artists are invited to upload current work on the platform at no additional cost. ShopArt Midwest connects artists directly with interested buyers, and 100% of sales are yours, Twin Rivers takes no fees.

To Apply

  • Complete online application.
  • Submit $35 jury fee and $100 booth deposit via Twin Rivers Fee Link to be considered for the Twin Rivers Arts Festival.
  • Once the jury process is complete on Sept. 1, 2025, artists will receive notification of their status.
  • Accepted artists will receive an invoice for remaining booth fees and payment link at that time.
  • Artists who are not accepted will be refunded their $100 booth deposit.

High Resolution Image Requirements

  • 300 dpi or higher
  • 3 x 5 inches or larger
  • PDF, TIFF or JPG files preferred

Support Our Volunteers

Every year volunteers donate their time and talents to our event. In exchange for their assistance, we ask all artists to extend a 5% discount (volunteers will be given a thank you card to show you in order to receive this discount). Thank you for agreeing to join us in extending such a gift in return for their services.

Twin Rivers Arts Festival Artist Application

**Two artists working as a team (creating one body of work) may fill out one application. Two artists applying to share a booth (creating two bodies of work) will apply separately, even if work is similar. Application, photos & jury fee must accompany each application.
